An 11 class series Thursday's in Jan, Feb, Mar & Apr 18:30 - 20:00 At Rocklands, Constantia Learn the soft power of Swimming Dragon Tai Chi The Swimming Dragon form originates from the Wudang mountains of China. The form emulates the movements of the water dragon, which are slow, smooth, continuous, twisting, stretching and coiling. The form stretches and strengthens all the joints, tendons and ligaments of the body, massages the organs, and stimulates circulation. The classes will include: - Grounding arrival to root the body and clear the mind - Slow progressive warm up mobilising the joints and tuning the nervous system - Clear expression of circular and spiral spinal patterns, stance training and one leg balance techniques, hand-eye coordination, full body breathing - Step by step guidance through the form and flowing through the sequence as a group - Softening cool down, tension release and closing meditation Due to the processual and progressive nature of the practice it is a full series with the times and days as follows: Thursdays in Jan (16, 23 & 30), Feb (6, 13, 20 & 27), Mar (6, 20 & 27) and 3 Apr From 18:30 to 20:00 At Rocklands Movement Centre, Constantia, CPT Sliding scale rate - R825pp to R2200 pp for the full series (payment plans available) - Drop in (on request) - R75-200 pp DM me directly or email info@original-condition.com to enquire or book
